B1/B2 (interm to high interm) - Thursdays with Victoria at 10a to 11.30a - Zoom

This course is designed for intermediate to high intermediate level students working to strengthen their competency in French. Students in this class can communicate the past and the future, as well as hypothetical situations, and express opinions on a variety of topics and in a variety of contexts. They have also studied the subjunctive mood.
In the upcoming session, the class will continue reading and discussing the acclaimed French graphic novel Persepolis, Tome 2 by Marjane Satrapi. This highly praised continuation of Satrapi’s autobiographical story follows her experiences growing up in Iran during and after the Islamic Revolution. Each week, students read and discuss a chapter of the book, exploring its cultural context while engaging in activities designed to reinforce vocabulary, expressions, and grammar encountered in the text.
