B1/B2 (interm to high interm) - Thursdays with Victoria at 10a to 11.30a - Zoom
This course is designed for intermediate to high intermediate level students working to strengthen their competency in French. Students in this class can communicate the past and the future, as well as hypothetical situations, and express opinions on a variety of topics and in a variety of contexts. They have also studied the subjunctive mood.
In the upcoming session, the class will continue reading and discussing the French graphic based on the life of Kiki de Montparnasse, born Alice Prin, a French artist's model, cabaret singer, painter, and memoirist who became one of the defining figures of Paris's Montparnasse artistic scene during the 1920s. Each week, students read and discuss a chapter of the book, exploring its cultural context while engaging in activities designed to reinforce vocabulary, expressions, and grammar encountered in the text. A chapter of the book and discussion questions are assigned for each class.
Online. Please contact us for a short placement test. Dates: 07/23 to 08/27.
