A2/B1 (high beginner to low inter) - Mondays with Victoria at 4p to 5.30p - Zoom

This course is designed for high-beginner to low-intermediate (A2/B1) students who want to strengthen their competency in French. Students are comfortable with the basics of the language and have reached a point where they can describe events in the past, present, and future with growing confidence.

In previous sessions, the class has studied, reviewed, and reinforced essential grammar and structures, including the present tense, the compound past tense (passé composé), and the imperfect tense. Most recently, students have reviewed the future tense and been introduced to the formation and uses of the conditional mood, while continuing to practice speaking, listening, and reading skills.

Homework is assigned each week to prepare for the following class and may include practicing a grammar point, listening to an audio segment, watching a short video, and preparing oral expression exercises based on the activities assigned. The course emphasizes active communication and real-life usage to help students gain confidence in expressing themselves in a variety of contexts.
