We offer our members two French Book Clubs that meet every 6 weeks to two months on Saturdays, at the Alliance Française de Tucson. We come together to discuss our thoughts, practice French and share what we have learned. Please note that due Covid-19 are meetings are held online through Zoom until further notice. Book Club discussions are free for AFT members and $5 for non-members.

Our Cercle Littéraire meetings (high intermediate to advanced levels) are led by our instructor Liz. The discussions focus on the whole book. Participants are expected to have read enough of it to be able to discuss it. Speakers with intermediate to advanced French skills are welcomed. Unless otherwise specified, all books are written in French and discussions take place in French. Questions are sent to participants prior to a book discussion.

NEXT MEETING: Saturday, August 14th, 2021 from 2p to 3.30p. The book discussed is L'ANOMALIE by Hervé Le Tellier. It is available on Amazon Kindle.

Books selected are French, level appropriate and fairly short. Book club discussions take place en français. A list of questions is sent ahead of time to facilitate preparation for the discussion.
